WATERMELON HAS THREE TYPES OF INVENTORY:
STOCKED, FEATURED AND DROPSHIP.
WHAT ARE STOCKED ITEMS?
Some items, like the goods you'll find in our Best Sellers and most of our Jewelry Collections live on Watermelon permanently-- which is to say that they're sitting on the shelves in our warehouse, ready to ship out as soon as you hit the checkout button. These are the items with nice, snappy delivery dates-- usually making the journey from us to you in just a few days.
SO WHAT ARE THE FEATURED ITEMS?
Some of the brands we feature through exclusive temporary sales fall into this category. Featured Items are indicated by a sale timer on the product page or brand page. In these cases, we either order stock to our warehouse periodically throughout the duration of the sale, or we place our order once the sale has ended. This is how we keep costs down, avoid waste, and pass the savings onto you — but it usually adds about a week or two to the wait time, since we have to wait for the goods to make it to our warehouse before we send ‘em your way.
GOT IT! WHAT ABOUT DROPSHIPS?
Dropship items will be shipped from the brand directly to you. If you have an order mixed with stocked items, the dropship item(s) will be shipped separately since it does not come to our warehouse at all. If you have questions about tracking or shipping times, we are more than happy to reach out to the brand on your behalf.
WHAT IF MY ORDER HAS A LITTLE BIT OF BOTH?
If your order contains both stocked goods and featured goods, we wait until all of your items have arrived in our warehouse, consolidate them into a single shipment, and then send them your way. By shipping your items in a single package, we manage to keep overhead costs down, which in turn allows us to pass the savings onto you. It’s a win-win.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?
Each order has different shipping times, depending on the type of inventory. Stocked items usually ship within 3-4 business days, while Featured and Dropships items shipping can take up to two weeks from the order being placed. Your estimated delivery dates will appear on the checkout page prior to order completion and are also in the Order Confirmation Email you’ll receive shortly after your purchase. You’ll also receive a Shipping Confirmation email when your order ships with tracking information.
DO YOU OFFER EXPEDITED SHIPPING?
Unfortunately we do not offer an expedited shipping option due to our business model. Many of the products we feature on our site are pre-sales, where we do not have inventory in-house at the time an item is offered for sale. This allows us to keep costs down and offer lower prices to our customers, but it usually adds about a week or two to the wait time.
When we receive the merchandise, we process it as soon as possible so we can get orders out fast. Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information.
WHAT CARRIERS DO YOU USE?
Most of the time we ship merchandise via the United States Postal Service. USPS can usually get a package anywhere in the 48 continental United States within 2-7 business days (including Saturday). Alaska and Hawaii usually take an extra day or two. For heavier, bulkier, and more expensive items, we typically ship using Fedex. For orders over $300, packages will be shipped with a signature requirement.
For international orders, we typically ship DHL, and occasionally USPS. If you have any shipping requests, contact us once you have placed your order, and we will see what we can do for you.

Most orders that do include a shipping cost will ship for $1.98 to $6.98, with some exceptions. In the case of multiple item orders, the entire order will ship for the highest individual shipping cost. (Example: An order that contains an item that ships for $2.98 and one that ships for $6.98, the entire order will ship for $6.98).
Please note that these initial shipping costs are non-refundable, even if you need to return an item.
HOW ABOUT MORE ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING?
Yes! We ship to Alaska and Hawaii, and many countries outside of the U.S., including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States of America, Virgin Islands, British, Virgin Islands, U.S. We’re adding new countries all the time, so let us know where else we should ship to by emailing us at email@example.com. We might have even added a few countries since we last updated this very text you're reading, so your best bet is to see if your country is listed on our checkout page in the drop-down of Step 1.
Shipping costs for orders outside of the U.S. vary depending on the destination. The shipping costs for international orders are calculated on the checkout page, but typically it will follow the standard price stated in the chart above.
International customers are solely responsible for all duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees. These are not included in the cost of shipping. Customs, duties, and taxes can vary, so please check with your local customs agency for details on estimated costs.
International free shipping only applies to orders with a subtotal (the total cost of the items in your cart, not including tax or shipping) of $40.00 or more. The free shipping discount is applied at checkout, and you don’t need to enter a code.
HOW LONG DOES INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TAKE?
As always, international shipping times are based upon location of the delivery. Our international orders are shipped using DHL, USPS International First Class, USPS International Priority Mail, which typically take between 3-6 weeks to be delivered once they have been left at our warehouse. Keep in mind that the estimated delivery dates listed on the product pages and in your order confirmation email are for U.S. domestic shipping only. Please allow additional transit time for all international orders.
DO YOU SHIP TO APO/FPO ADDRESSES?
Yes! During the checkout process for “shipping Details,” you can select an APO/FPO address under U.S. Armed Forces in the State dropdown.
DO YOU SHIP TO FREIGHT FORWARDING ADDRESSES?
Unfortunately, we do not ship to freight forwarding addresses due to accountability and reliability issues. If any order is placed with a freight forwarding address, the order will be cancelled, and the original form of payment will be refunded.
CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
Yes! Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your shipping tracking information.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Shipping costs are calculated based upon the delivery location, weight of the shipment, and the price of the entire order.
WHAT ARE SHORT SHIPMENTS?
"Short shipments" are when a brand ships Watermelon fewer items than initially agreed upon from the order placed with the brand from us. It doesn’t happen often, but if your order is affected, we will notify you by email as soon as we know!
